On February 22, 2010, Lifehouse played in Cologne, Germany. The concert was relocated from the cosy, little Luxor to this slightly bigger - but still too small - venue Bürgerhaus Stollwerck. It was sold out. But the good thing is that the show was sold out before it was properly announced. In other words, true Lifehouse fans got the tickets. Fans that visit the Lifehouse site on a regular basis, being disappointed so many times that Europe was skipped time in time again. And then, suddenly, the Cologne gig is scheduled and the biggest Lifehouse fans see it first.
With our well-deserved tickets we traveled to Cologne to see Lifehouse. We’ve been to this venue Stollwerck before to see Colbie Caillat and it was good to be back.
It was 10 pm when Lifehouse entered the stage. The crowd went completely crazy! Non-stop camera flashes and people making terrible noise! They started with Make Me Over, continuing with Spin. In the first part of the show they also played Hanging By A Moment. What a relieve to hear this song live, finally!
Nice selection of songs too. They played some of their older songs and some tracks from their upcoming album Smoke And Mirrors. Speaking of which, it was good to hear Halfway Gone, the latest single. We video taped that one. Worth mentioning is the moment that singer Jason Wade gave the floor to bassist Bryce Soderberg to sing a song. Ain't that just cool! It’s a new song called Wrecking Ball and it sounds great.
Jason Wade said that it was seven years ago since their previous visit to Germany. We had to wait a long, long time. But now we finally got to see Lifehouse and it was worth all the waiting! They played one more song, Everything, and then they left.

New concert reviews are on the way as C&D Music Mix will be attending three more shows: Lifehouse, Josh Rouse and John Mayer. These three artists will be on tour and we are gonna be there to check it out.
While finishing a new album, Belgian band Mint shows us their latest single Signs. Again a fabulous song. With the typical Mint sound!
Mint has plenty of great songs, such as Your Shopping Lists Are Poetry and Giving Blood To Machines. We keep wondering: how is it possible that Mint hasn't been on the Billboard Hot 100 yet? Some people are clearly missing all kinds of signs.
You can now listen to Signs on Mint's MySpace. Their fourth album is planned to release April 2010.
Malaysian singer Zee Avi is in the Jack Johnson team! She has signed to Brushfire Records and presents to us her new single 'Bitter Heart'. So we fly from Hawaii to the coast of Malaysia where we get a drink and chill a little bit. Ok, keep this in mind and put Zee Avi on your iPod! This is what we call fresh new music.
C&D Music Mix extends music site with hilarious lyrics

C&D Music Mix starts showing the most hilarious lyrics from bands and artists. The music site adds lyrics that are crazy, different or extremely funny.
Have yourself inspired and listen to 'Superior' by Tim Christensen. The song was officially released in 2008. And since C&D Music Mix was not yet in the air at that very moment, we never had a chance to properly introduce it.
As a matter of fact, we were really surprised to hear this song on the radio for the first time in 2010! Apparently, we are not the only ones that are excited about Tim Christensen.
'Superior' by Tim Christensen really deserves to be mentioned on this website. So here it is, especially for you!
German singer Oceana has attracted our attention with her new single 'Cry Cry'. This song is completely ready to be on the radio and on TV. How about the rest?
Unfortunately, rising star Oceana gives reasons to cry when we tried to find her website. Google cannot find it and on the Oceana MySpace there's no link at all. It took us some deep investigation to find the official website. Not to mention the cheap site design. Now that's a little below the line, girl!
If we forget about the website, we would really suggest you to listen to Oceana's song 'Cry Cry'. This nice song and the professional video surely wipes away the tears.
Corinne Bailey Rae is back with a new single, 'I'd Do It All Again'. And that's great, because we were seriously worried to lose a fantastic singer. Her husband died in 2008 an we didn't hear from Corinne Bailey Rae ever since. Now she's back on track, or trying to, and we are really happy about that.
How about the song? It feels like a bridge between the 'old' and 'new' Corinne Bailey Rae. A strong one. Melody and lyrics are touching.
When a person says that he'd do something again, he refers to one or more remarkable moments from the past. Whatever 'something' was, that something was good. It'll be a memory forever.
The video of 'I'd Do It All Again' clearly shows similarities to the movie Goundhog Day with Bill Murray. One specific day keeps repeating again and again. We look forward to see Corinne Bailey Rae again on the day after this day.
Turn up the radio for the Texas-based band Green River Ordinance! Green River Ordinance, GRO for friends, has released a great song called 'Come on'.
The melody of 'Come on' sounds familiar even when you hear it for the first time. How about the lyrics of the song? We cite: "I just wanna be the hand you hold when you're cryin', I just wanna be the voice that tells you it'll be alright". Oh come on, that's nice! The video really is the finishing touch. It shows many different images and introduces the band really well.
This review may sound like a storm of compliments. But believe me, we're no easy audience!
"But the band is anything but green", according to GRO's bio. We just know the band, but they do indeed sound like a good old friend. So, play the video, and don't hesitate to replay if you like it!
The new band 16 Frames shows you what they got with their single 'Back Again'. Now that's just not another happy song. If you listen to the lyrics, you will hear about "the tears start drowning me", "you're feeling sick" and "we'll fall apart". But the message of this song is not so sad as you think. 16 Frames bandleader Steve Sulikowski sings about getting back again. That's the spirit! Listen now to 'Back Again' by the promising new band 16 Frames.
